The Fair Park Complex has approximately 200,000 visitors a year and the facility is booked for a wide variety of weekend and weekday events including: J&J Productions and Rush Herrington Barrel Racing, College and High School Rodeos, Elder Dodge Sales Day, World Series and Fire it up Team Roping, Livestock Shows, Ranch Riding Events, and Dallas Dressage Club Show. In October 1999, the Fair Park was host to the worlds largest 2-day team roping ever held with over 5200 teams entered. The Fair Park hosts the First Responders PRCA Rodeo in April , and the MDA Benefit rodeo and concert.
